FUNDRAISER: AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run 2011 - Oct. 16

Metropolitan Atlanta has the eighth highest incidence of HIV/AIDS in the country and AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run, taking place on Sunday, October 16th 2011 in Piedmont Park, is the largest AIDS fundraising event in the Southeast to help care for people living with HIV/AIDS in Metro-Atlanta.

AID Atlanta and the 9 participating agencies who benefit from AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run provide thousands of people living with HIV/AIDS treatment and medications, meals, housing, mental health services, child care, substance abuse counseling, pastoral care, and clinical research, as well as HIV prevention programs to over 85,000 neighbors and friends at-risk for HIV/AIDS in Atlanta.

These exceptional organizations need help now more than ever.  I've committed to help support AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run by registering to Walk on October 16th. Won’t you help me reach and even surpass my fundraising goal for this worthwhile cause?

If you are giving for the first time or are returning as a donor, you are an important part of AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run.  No contribution is too small. EVERY LIFE DESERVES HOPE; your generosity provides just that.  Please give today.
