MUSIC: Benefit Concert featuring Roberta Flack & Anthony David - Sept. 22nd


A stellar evening of exciting musical entertainment is planned that will feature a special performance by internationally acclaimed recording artist, Ms. Roberta Flack; guest appearances by honorary hosts, Hon. Harry Belafonte and Ambassador Andrew Young; and spirited musical selections by the Wilberforce University Choir.
Neo-soul artist, Anthony David will lead off this evening of inspired entertainment with a rendition of his top Ten Hit Single "Let Me In"


Honorees who will be recognized at the Benefit Concert include: Dr. Jamye C. Williams, distinguished alumna of Wilberforce University Class of 1938 and Retired General Officer of the AME Church; and Mr. Lenny F. Springs, Senior Advisor, US Department of Education/Office of Traditionally Under-Resourced Schools, and former Director of Supplier Diversity for Wachovia Bank. Both honorees are being acknowledged for outstanding leadership, and recognized as "champions" for higher education and economic development. Click here to see the Honorees
Showtime is SEPT. 22 at 7:30 P.M. at The Wolf Creek Amphitheater, 3025 Merk Road, Southwest Atlanta.
Doors open at 5:30 P.M.
Refreshments will be available for purchase at the Amphitheater; you may also bring your own food and beverages
