DOCUMENTARY: A Tribe Called Quest in ATL - EXTENDED UNTIL AUGUST 4th!

Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest

I will be there FRONT AND CENTER!
Well...more "center and center" in the movie theater.

This documentary is LONG overdue.
True hip hop heads still have the Tribe's CDs in heavy rotation.
(OK...Maybe it's just me.) Each release was outstanding from the first song to the last. Buying one song in the 80s was just not possible or too expensive, so with Tribe, fans were happy when guaranteed a quality product and skipping songs was never desired.

BIG UPS to TRIBE!
Can't wait to see the film!

Metro Atlanta Dates:
07/22 thru 08/04– Atlanta, GA @ Midtown Arts Cinema
07/22 - 08/04 Atlanta, GA @ AMC Phipps Plaza 14
08/12 - Kennesaw, GA @ AMC Barrett Commons 24

Remembering Michael Jackson

BILLIE JEAN

This video "MADE" MTV! I remember watching it in awe. He, no doubt, set the standard.
This is NO OTHER performer who is as innately and profoundly excellent as
Michael Jackson.

I'm a fan for life.

This is for you, MJ.

Awareness & Relaxation : OSHO Meditations For Busy People

Osho is one my favorite philosophers/writers. For fathers (and mothers) this is  a wonderful reminder to stop and reflect. Time is precious...and unforgiving. It won't stop for ANYONE!

SIDE NOTE: Happy father's day to my dad, who took his time and resources to shape me into the person I am today.  To all dads (...and expecting dads), the  moment your child is born, you awaken a new part of yourself that never existed. Remember to embrace it. Love it. Such an amazing cycle of love...

Awareness & Relaxation : OSHO Meditations For Busy People

1: Daily Watching
“Start being aware with day-to-day, routine actions, and while you are doing your routine actions, remain relaxed.

“There is no need to be tense. When you are washing your floor, what is the need to be tense? Or when you are cooking the food, what is the need to be tense? There is not a single time in life that requires your tension. It is just your unawareness and your impatience.

“I have not found anything — and I have lived in all kind of ways, with all kinds of people. I have always been puzzled: why are they tense? It seems tension has nothing to do with anything outside you, it has something to do within you. Outside you always find an excuse only because it looks so idiotic to be tense without any reason. Just to rationalize, you find some reason outside yourself to explain why you are tense.

“But tension is not outside you, it is in your wrong style of life.
